Road safety cameras save Victorian lives. They slow drivers down, making Victoria's roads safer.
On Wednesday 15 May 2024, there will be a trial of a new road safety camera at Epping Road.
Due to ongoing roadworks, the speed limit on Epping Road between Craigieburn Road East and Memorial Avenue has been changed to 40km/h to keep motorists and workers safe.
There will be no number plate matching or enforcement, and no fines will be issued while the trial is taking place.
Victoria’s road safety camera system consists of both fixed and mobile cameras placed at carefully chosen locations.
Road safety cameras across the Victorian network are regularly tested for accuracy to confirm the equipment is working properly. Potential offences are thoroughly scrutinised and verified.
